AHP can provide you
solutions in whichever stage your packaging
requirements are.
In general terms, packaging can be classified in 3 stages primary,
secondary, and tertiary.
Primary:
This is where a product will be in closest contact with the packaging
material, or the first envelop. Some examples of this may be,
individual
candy bars, single
lollies, plastic wrapped fruit etc.
Secondary:
Next stage, where products (primary packaged often)
are grouped in larger boxes, cartons,
packets, display units etc. For example on a supermarket shelf, where a
group of candy bars (primary) are kept in a display box (secondary),
box of strawberry punnets, etc.
Tertiary (End-of-Line):
The final stage often the "end of line" packaging process, where
secondary packed products are bulk packaged and palletised for storage
and/
transport.
